I'm new to the pool filter scene, but not to water filters. This filter is one of the easiest I've set up and has very little moving parts etc inside the filter. IT's basically a big container with a drop in DE screen. One part to clean, replace makes for a easy to install and use filter. My pool went without a filter for about a week and was green as a pond. Once I hooked it up and turned it on and within 24hrs the pool was crystal clear and blue again.. simple amazing! Cant recommend this filter enough. The only downside was Pentair shipped out my filter without the necessary O ring so I had to wait extra time in order to just use it. Not sure how they could leave a crucial part out like that. So the factory only gets 3 stars.. bu the pump is a 5 star product by me.
